and silky with a natural-looking
finish, and this one did. But what
really impressed us was how
well it stayed put—even after
several sneezes and a full, face-
down body massage, no color
transfer. Lasted a solid 12 hours,
and could have gone longer with
a tiny touch up.

This lipstick delivered true color
that hung tough for
a solid seven hours through
breakfast, lunch, and several soda
breaks. Didn’t leave dry patches
like the long-wearing lipsticks of
yore. Using a balm before apply-
ing made a big difference in how
well the color wore.

This is genius: The compact
includes a cream highlighter
to add luminosity, a powder blush
for a little flush, and a dual-end
brush to apply both. The look was
beautiful, the longevity even bet-
ter. The highlighter faded by the
8-hour mark, but the blush
was still there when we washed
up for bed.

Cream eye shadows tend
to crease and fade; not
this one. The shades are
gorgeous, wearable, and
not the least bit heavy
or cakcy. We fell for Golden
Sands: Its subtle glimmer
stayed perfectly put for
14 hours.

C u r l i n g M a s c a r a ; $14
Any mascara that adds volume
and curl at the same time is
a keeper. This one also promises
24-hour wear (though why
anyone would need to keep lashes
made up that long, we have no
idea). Let’s just say that when
we washed it off after 16 hours it
was still looking fine. ■

We’ve always favored liquid to pencil liner
for its staying power. No more. This pencil
is soft and resilient. And the shades! Tropical
hues, metallics, neutrals—we haven’t had this
much fun with color in a long time. Oh, yeah—
and like the name implies, the color won’t
budge until washed off.
